Pump Patrol: Save 17 cents a gallon

HOUSTON – The average cost of a gallon of gas in Houston on Wednesday was $3.75. But some stations around town sold regular gas for 17 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

• Murphy Express, Southmore Avenue near Johnson Street in Pasadena: $3.58
• Sunny's Food, McHard Road near Quail Park Drive in Missouri City: $3.59
• Valero, State Highway 6 near Briar Forest Drive: $3.65
