HOUSTON – A Houston church is giving away free gas cards in north Houston on Easter Sunday.
The New Life Tabernacle Church of God in Christ will be giving away the gift cards to the first 100 people in line at 1:00 p.m. at the Chevron gas station located at 3405 West Little York and T.C. Jester in north Houston.

The church said, "This effort is simply to give back to the community-at-large during these times of rising gas prices."
The pastor of the church, Carl Davis, said this is a thank you to the community for their continued support.
The New Life Tabernacle Church of God in Christ is located at 3021 De Soto.
The church has been part of the Acres Homes community for the past 15 years.
