A 78-year-old Raytown man and his three children came forward Friday to claim a $36 million Powerball Jacket from the Nov. 2 drawing.

Floyd Scheinost, Phil Scheinost, 49, Andy Scheinost, 44, and Becky Pycior, 52, will share the jackpot equally.

Lottery officials said that the family plans to take the jackpot's cash amount in one payment, which is $17.2 million. Each will get $4.3 million before taxes.

Floyd Scheinost is a retired electrician. He bought the family's winning ticket at Cosentino's Apple Market in the 11500 block of East 63rd Street just hours before the drawing. Scheinost let the computer select the numbers.

The winning numbers from the Nov. 2 drawing were: 6, 11, 14, 27, 41 and the Powerball was 38.

Scheinost said he plans to use his prize money to travel.
