POSTED: Thursday, November 6, 2008
UPDATED: 10:38 am CST November 6, 2008

Ducks are believed to be the cause of a wreck in northwest Houston Thursday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Investigators said ducks wandered onto the 6900 block of West Little York at about 6:30 a.m. and a driver crashed when he tried to avoid hitting them.

Firefighters chased the ducks out of the intersection, but at least three of them were killed by dogs in a nearby field.

No one was injured in the accident.
