Houston Hospitals Get National Recognition

M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Ranked No. 1 For Cancer Care

HOUSTON -

Houston has the largest medical center in the world, and a new list ranks some of those hospitals as the some of the best in the United States.

U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals

U.S. News and World Report has named M.D. Anderson as the No. 1 hospital for cancer treatment. The hospital also ranked No. 6 for ear, nose and throat and gynecology care and No. 10 in urology.

The Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital was rated No. 4 for cardiology care. St. Luke's Hospital was also recognized in five other areas of care.

Methodist Hospital ranked nationally in 11 specialties and was ranked No. 1 in Houston on the best metro area hospital list.

TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital was ranked No. 4 for rehabilitation.
