Once considered an affliction of the lazy and indulgent, obesity now affects about one-third of Americans. Gallup and Healthways recently ranked which U.S. cities are the heaviest -- and which are the skinniest -- using Americans' Body Mass Index (BMI) scores. The indexes are calculated based on a person's self-reported height and weight radio, with scores of 30 or above considered obese.
