Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which not enough oxygen can reach the brain. A very common symptom of sleep apnea is snoring.

People who have sleep apnea wake up every morning feeling fatigued. Many people who have sleep apnea don’t realize that their sleep is being interrupted every night due to a lack of oxygen. Although they often are not aware of it, a person with sleep apnea may wake up hundreds of times every night.

According to the Mayo Clinic, some complications that come with sleep apnea are high blood pressure, heart problems, fatigue, and morning headaches.
