Who can donate blood?
Donating blood is an action that can save lives, but not everyone is eligible to donate.
In order to donate blood, donors must be in good health. They also must be at least 17 years old, although the age limit varies from state to state.
Donors must also weight at least 110 pounds, and they must pass a physical and health history assessment.
