Jennifer Reyna joined KPRC 2 News in 2006 as a traffic reporter, sharing her extensive knowledge of Houston helping viewers get through the morning delays. She regularly anchors traffic weekday mornings on KPRC 2 News Today and during the "TODAY Show." She reports from the field and anchors the KPRC 2 News Midday at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Her first television news job was in Los Angeles at KABC-TV, where she worked behind the scenes. Before moving to the west coast, Jennifer worked on Houston's Rock 101 KLOL. Years later, she stepped back into radio by teaming up with 89.3 KSBJ. Her traffic reports can be heard on their radio station each weekday during the morning commute.
Jennifer loves being active in the community and especially appreciates an opportunity to help others. One of her most touching experiences was during Hurricane Ike when she worked in the Neighbor 2 Neighbor call center, where she acted as a source of comfort for callers, helped residents find ice and water and helped the community get back on its feet.
She is a graduate of the University of Houston and is proud to call Houston home.
