Welcome to KPRC's newest blog 'The Voice Rewind.' We'll be recapping 'The Voice' all season long and keeping track of our hometown favorites.
The blind auditions continued Tuesday on NBC's singing competition series, "The Voice." The four celebrity coaches continued vying for performers to add to their respective teams. There was some pretty amazing talent on stage, but one performer in particular stole the show in my eyes. I may be a little biased being that she's a hometown girl, but nevertheless ... her voice wowed the judges.
Savannah Berry, 17, of Sugar Land had a taste of success leaving school to pursue a career and even earning a chance to sing with Sugarland. Ironic? I think not. When her career stalled, she returned to school, leading people to think she'd given up her dreams, but after last night? We ALL know her dreams are still alive and kicking.
Berry's rendition of "Safe and Sound" got three chairs to turn and, as you might expect, she went with Blake as her coach. Usher, you missed out on a good one.
Blind auditions continue Monday at 7 p.m.
