HOUSTON – A Waller County resident diagnosed with West Nile virus has died.
Officials have not released information about the patient.
The city of Houston has reported that there are two more human cases, bringing the total this year to 51. They involve:
- a southwest Houston man between the ages of 45 and 54
- a northwest Houston man between the ages of 45 and 54
Four deaths have been reported in Houston.
Five new human cases have been reported in Harris County, bringing the total this year to 21. The most recent cases involve:
- a southeast Harris County man between the ages of 25 and 34
- a northwest Harris County woman between the ages of 55 and 74
- a northwest Harris County man between the ages of 75 and 94
- a northeast Harris County man between the ages of 55 and 74
- an east Harris County woman between the ages of 75 and 94
