HOUSTON – A third human case of the West Nile virus has been confirmed in Texas for 2013.
The Denton County Health Department said it has a case there. It's that county's first human case of the year.

The patient is in his 40's and lives in the city of Denton. He has West Nile fever, which is the milder form of the illness.
There have been two other human cases in Texas so far this year. One was in Tarrant County. The other was in Anderson County.
