HOUSTON – A second human case of West Nile virus has been diagnosed in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Hospital District officials said an 81-year-old south Montgomery County resident has been diagnosed with the virus.

There have been 10 human cases of West Nile virus reported in Houston and another four cases in other parts of Harris County.
One case in Houston has been fatal. A southwest Houston man between the ages of 75 and 84 died on Aug. 1.
Last year, the number of West Nile deaths in the city of Houston was zero.
More than 380 human cases of West Nile virus have been diagnosed in Texas in 2012.
Most people become infected within three to 10 days of a bite from an infected mosquito.
Symptoms include fever, headache, body tremors and visual problems.
Doctors said if you start to feel any of these things you should seek medical help right away.
