Personal Trainer: Rendell Lucelle
Rendell is originally from the Virgin Islands and graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Sports medicine.
He worked at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) for three years doing physical therapy and rehabilitation. He then went on to work for the strength-conditioning unit of the University of Houston Football Team. He also was a physical education teacher at a Baytown-area school.
But it was Rendell's own battle with weight that led him to become a personal trainer for 24-Hour Fitness. When Rendell was 21 years old, he lost approximately 100 pounds and changed his life forever.
He now helps others battle the bulge at the 24-Hour Fitness located at Post Oak Boulevard and Westheimer Road. He is considered one of the top trainers within the company.

You may have seen her on Channel 2 as "The 30 Second Coach." Every other week, she gave advice on how spending just 30 seconds a day focusing on a goal can you help achieve it.
Her lifelong interest in health and fitness issues and her training in leadership development, at all levels, have led her to create the Center For Self, her personal coaching practice which focuses on issues of transition in and around the workplace.
Leisa's past work experience includes executive merchandising and marketing positions with Neiman Marcus and Federated Department Stores and in the fashion industry with Leslie Fay and Evan-Picone.
In 1996, Leisa formed the Apparel Resource Group, Inc., a consumer-products-focused consulting company specializing in brand positioning, organizational development and technology management.

As an all-American gymnast in high school, a member of the varsity diving team at Texas A&M, currently a member of the Houston Area Road Runners Association and Runner's High, she has completed five triathlons, eight marathons and three ultra-marathons. He received his Masters of Science in social work in 1997 from The University of Texas Arlington where he will soon complete his doctorate. Prior to joining the Tarnow Center, Mr. Swatzyna started his career as a biofeedback therapist for Productive Rehabilitative Institute in Dallas for Ergonomics (PRIDE) training chronic pain patients in self-manage techniques. The next four years he worked primarily with adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital (Millwood Hospital) in Arlington, Texas specializing in adolescent disruptive behavior. The last two years he held the positions of Director of Social Services and Clinical Director of Outpatient Services. For the last year Mr. Swatzyna maintained a private practice and worked for Mental Health Outreach seeing a variety of geriatrics and disabled patients.
