More Vaccine For High-Risk Houstonians
H1N1 Vaccine Shipment Arrived Thursday

HOUSTON -- The Houston Health Department will target high-risk groups with the new H1N1 vaccine shipment, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.
The injectable H1N1 vaccines will be offered to people in high-risk groups starting on Monday.
The health department received a new H1N1 vaccine shipment with 16,000 doses on Thursday and will use them to immunize pregnant women, children 6 months and older, children with chronic conditions and household contacts and caregivers of children younger than 6 months of age.
The vaccines will be given on a first-come, first-served basis at seven sites on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The vaccination sites are as follows.
