Discovery Green Launches Spring 2012 Programming Season
It’s time to shed those winter coats and enjoy the great outdoors at Houston’s favorite downtown park! Discovery Green, the family-friendly destination with activities for the young and young at heart, is pleased to announce the new lineup for its Spring 2012 programming season that will kick-off March 9 and go through June 30, 2012.
This season is packed with popular returning events likeweekly Zumba classes, the Thursday Concert Series, DockDogs®and 3rd Annual Disco Green Electronic Music Festival. In addition, new events have been added to the roster and include Date Night Movies, Ananda Yogaand a special event to celebrate kid power!

March 17, noon – 6 pm; April 21, noon- 6 pm; May 19, noon-6 pm; June 16, 6-10pm
Local music, kids’ activities, bicycle repair workshop, and 40+ vendors selling vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles, jewelry and more. New this spring are monthly themes including Healthy You in March, Earth Day in April, Bloom in May and Solstice in June.
The Fab 40 Celebrates the Fab 4 and Discovery Green’s 4th Birthday
