Children's Museum of Houston cruises into Spring Break with a voyage like no other!

There’s a destination right around the corner that celebrates YOU!  The Children's Museum of Houston (CMH) is the ultimate family destination where there’s something new to do and celebrate every day of Spring Break.  Get away and soak in the sun and fun during Destination Celebration—our action-packed Spring Break week!  Embark on a daily adventure filled with thrills including hands-on activities like Game-Show Madness, MindFest™ Mayhem and much more. Daily Ceremonial Kickoffs and Main Show performances will keep the festivities going.

Set sail on a voyage of discovery where your daily itinerary is filled to the brim with exciting, non-stop exhilaration.  Make sure to reach sky high on a bungee trampoline and get in on the act with exciting, live performances and interactive shows.  Hit the jackpot playing in our Game Show Madness and Boardwalk Bonanza.  And become a super-star at Party Rock – where the rock star madness never ends!

And don’t forget to stop by on March 14 and help us celebrate ? (Pi) Day.  Pi or ? or 3.14…, is an infinite, non-repeating number which also happens to be Albert Einstein’s birthday (3/14)! Get tossed right into the Pi Day celebration with a huge Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight at 1:59 p.m. (1.59 because the numbers follow 3.14159) and get ready for a fun-filled day of activities and all things pi.

Doors are open Monday-Saturday at 10 a.m.; Sundays at noon and the first 50 visitors will be draped with beautiful welcome leis. Your Spring Break destiny awaits at the Children's Museum of Houston!

DAILY ITINERARY:

11 a.m. Ceremonial Kickoff–  Kick-start your getaway and whip you hair back and forth with the DG Celebration Crew as confetti cannons get your journey started with a bang.

11 a.m. MindFest™Mayhem – Takeoff on a mind-bending challenge and put your brain to the test with activities like Stick Chain Reaction, bristle bots and more!

Noon On the Deck– It’s time to raise the bar higher (or lower) and challenge your friends to some friendly on-deck competition with games like limbo and conga line!

2 p.m. The Main Show– Enjoy some entertainment on the high seas and be captivated by live and interactive performances including:

o   Saturday, March 10:Kozzmic Steel Drum Band – Get into the spring break spirit with this electrifying performance!

o   Sunday, March 11:Frisbee Dogs – Catch these four-legged pals as they amaze you with their incredible Frisbee skills!

o   Monday, March 12:Magician Jamie Salinas – Be amazed by the sleight of hand of this Champion of Magic!

o   Tuesday, March 13: Juggling show – Get in on the act and learn to juggle with this talented juggling troupe!

o   Wednesday, March 14:Urgeworks - Be impressed by how these dancers’ acrobatic moves and creative, rhythmic dance styles combined to make an outstanding show.

o   Thursday, March 15:Comedy Sportz – This hilarious and fast-paced improve comedy group will have you laughing all the way through your spring break adventure!

o   Friday, March 16:Wild Style – Jump in the mix with one of Houston’s biggest and best hip hop high-energy shows.
