The new menu rolls out Monday at 3 p.m. and features two new salads and a new grilled chicken melt.

Along with the new items, Whataburger plans to unveil a new 550 calories or less menu.

The "new look" will also rearrange and simplify the categories as Burgers, Chicken and Breakfast.

"We think our customers will be extremely pleased with the new menu items we've added, and we redesigned our menu boards to accommodate these additions," said Whataburger Group Director of Marketing and Innovation, Rich Scheffler.

The food chain hopes the new low-cal choices will offer guests more options without comprising the Whataburger flavor.
