Daniel Subra Has 12 Brothers, Sisters
A new addition to a Des Moines family has made it a baker's dozen -- 13 kids.Daniel Kevin Subra (pictured, left) was born Friday, and he was welcomed home Monday by 12 brothers and sisters and proud parents Kevin and Jane Subra.The children range in age from Daniel, who is 4 days old, to a 21-year-old son in Texas who has a son of his own.Steven Subra, 6, said he's more than happy to take on the role of big brother. | Video |
The Subras keep two refrigerators stocked to feed the brood and often use two washing machines and dryers to keep everyone in clean clothes.Some of the Subra children admit they want big families of their own."I've always said I want eight boys to begin with," Hannah Subra, 20, said.
