The Kardashian family might not be welcome on the White House TVs, but we're betting that Beyonce is.
President Obama attended a fundraiser hosted by the 31-year-old singer and her husband Jay-Z on Tuesday night in New York City. At the event, which took place at Jay's 40/40 Club, Obama reaffirmed his love for the superstar pair.
"To Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship," Obama said, according to Politico.
The President joked that he has a few things in common with Jay-Z, such as their family life: "We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are," Obama said, giving a nod to Blue Ivy, naturally. "So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard, but it's OK."
He then bestowed high praise on Jay's wife, telling the crowd gathered that "Beyonce could not be a better role model for my girls." In fact, he added,"Michelle, Sasha and Malia are mad at me because they're not here."
