- General: This is an online voting giveaway sponsored by KPRC TV. By voting for an artist online at Click2Houston.com following the announcement during the Thursday, May 25 airing of the Art Car Parade, the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all of these Official Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Contest is for Thursday, May 25, 2006, only, and does not include any subsequent rebroadcasts of the 2006 Art Car Parade. All times in this contest refer to Central Time. By entering the online voting giveaway, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final. Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of this sweepstakes at any time. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this contest. How to Enter: When watching the 2006 Art Car Parade broadcast on Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m. on KPRC-TV, entrants will be alerted to five (5) "Viewers Choice Nominees." After the fifth and final "Viewers Choice Nominee" has been broadcast a "log on to vote" announcement will be made once. Viewers will have approximately ten (:10 minutes) to log on to Click2Houston.com and vote for their favorite artist. The "Viewers Choice Nominee" artist with the most votes will be named the "Viewer’s Choice Award Winner." Then, KPRC-TV will select, by random drawing of the pool of voters who voted for the "Viewers Choice Winning Artist" an individual to receive the viewers prize giveaway.Prizes: The "Viewers Choice Award Winning Artist" will receive along with the title "Viewer’s Choice Award," special placement in the 2007 Art Car Parade, to be determined by parade organizers, as well as other various prizes as determined by parade organizers. The viewer’s prize giveaway is two (2) round trip International Business Class tickets from Continental Airlines, some restrictions may apply. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and no substitutions will be made for this prize. Estimated value of grand prize is $8,000. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Winner must complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, or the prize will be forfeited. Continental Airlines will be the sole determinant of travel availability. These Travel Authorization Coupons are currently valued at $4,000 each. They will be valid for travel beginning on upon receipt through to Nov. 5, 2006. E-Certificate Travel Coupons are valid for travel on Continental Airlines and Continental Express only and are subject to the Terms and Restrictions outlined herein. Blackout dates may apply, are based on through destinations and are subject to change at any time. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-negotiable. They do not include miscellaneous taxes (surcharges or departure or security taxes) and cannot be upgraded, extended or replaced if lost or stolen. OnePass miles cannot be accrued on these tickets. All tickets issued are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages and schedule or route changes. In the unlikely event of a flight deviation, i.e. weather or mechanical problems that may result in a cancellation or delay, individuals traveling on these tickets are responsible for arranging and paying for any overnight accommodations, meals, transfers, etc. that may occur.Eligibility: The contest is open only to legal residents of the viewing area of KPRC-TV, who are 21 years of age as of May 25, 2006, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by applicable federal or state laws and regulations.
