Ticket Sales
Rodeo ticket prices range from $16 to $77, plus a Ticketmaster convenience charge.Tickets include entrance into Reliant Stadium, Reliant Center, Reliant Arena, the Hideout, outdoor activities and booths, and the carnival.They are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Foley's, Fiesta, FYE, and Wherehouse Music locations.Ticket sales began Saturday, Jan. 15. The Reliant Park box office opens Jan. 17.Tickets can be purchased on the Internet at ticketmaster.com. Tickets may be charged by phone at (713) 629-3700.On the opening day of ticket sales, there is a 20-ticket limit for the Kenny Chesney performance on March 9.Most Ticketmaster locations in the Houston area will be distributing linestubs beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Drawings will be held at approximately 9:30 a.m. to determine the linestub number which will start the line for ticket purchases at these locations. Linestubs will be available only to persons ages 12 and older, and each person will receive only one linestub.New Music Venues Added
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo officials are adding new music venues and bringing back two old favorites for the 2005 event. The 2005 Show will include the return of The Hideout, in the historic Reliant Astrodome, the new Coca-Cola Texas Stage, and live music at the Main Corral Club.The Hideout, which first appeared on the grounds of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo during the 1992 Show, took a one-year hiatus in 2004 and will return for the 2005 Show. In place of a tent in the parking lot, The Hideout will be located on the floor of Reliant Astrodome.The Hideout will feature Texas country-dance bands, as well other popular musicians.The Hideout will be open daily, March 1 - 12 and 14 - 20, 6 p.m. to midnight, and on Sunday, March 13, from noon to 11 p.m.METRO Provides Shuttle Service
Rodeo visitors can take a shuttle to the rodeo grounds if they do not want to park on-site.The Rodeo METRO Express will provide transportation for show visitors from eight shuttle locations throughout Houston.Round-trip transportation on the shuttle costs $3 for riders 13 years old and older and free for those 12 and younger.Here is a list of the Rodeo METRO Express locations.- Delmar Stadium, 2020 Mangum (near U.S. 290 and West Loop 610 North)
