Rodeo Under Way For 2004 Season

29 Entertainers Scheduled For 20-Day Show

Here is your online guide to the 2004 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

All weekday rodeo performances begin at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday rodeo performances begin at 4 p.m. Each show begins with rodeo events and ends with the concert entertainer.

Ticket Sales

Rodeo tickets cost $16, plus a Ticketmaster convenience charge.

They are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Foley's, Fiesta, FYE, and Wherehouse Music locations.

Ticket sales began Saturday, Nov. 22.

Tickets can be purchased on the Internet at ticketmaster.com. Tickets may be charged by phone at (713) 629-3700.

Tickets may be purchased at Reliant Park at the south Reliant Stadium ticket windows.

Ticket buyers should be aware that the only show-authorized ticket outlets are at the Reliant Park box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.

METRO Provides Shuttle Service

Rodeo visitors can take a shuttle to the rodeo grounds if they do not want to park on-site.

The Rodeo METRO Express will provide transportation for show visitors from eight shuttle locations throughout Houston.

Round-trip transportation on the shuttle costs $3 for riders 13 years old and older and free for those 12 and younger.

Here is a list of the Rodeo METRO Express locations.
  • Delmar Stadium, 2020 Mangum (near U.S. 290 and West Loop 610 North)
  • METRO North Shepherd Park and Ride, 7821 N. Shepherd (at Veterans-Memorial Drive and Interstate 45 North)
  • METRO Monroe Park and Ride, 8833½ Gulf Freeway (Interstate 45 at Easthaven Boulevard)
  • Aramco Services Company, 9009 West Loop South
  • METRO West Loop Park and Ride, 4675 S. Braeswood at West Loop 610
  • METRO Westwood Park and Ride, 9990 Southwest Freeway (south of Bissonnet)
  • Minute Maid Park B and C Lots, 501 Crawford St.
  • Reed Road HLS&R Park and Ride, Reed Road (west of Texas 288)

The Reed Road HLS&R Park and Ride lot will have continuous shuttle service from 5 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily beginning March 2.

All other lots will operate from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Fridays, and 9 a.m. until 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
