"MY NAME IS EARL"
COST DAD THE ELECTION: Earl (Jason Lee) sets out to mend his relationship with his father Carl (guest star Beau Bridges) by trying to cross number four off of his list: "blew dad’s chance to be elected mayor." Four years prior, Carl ran for mayor to oppose the other candidate’s plan to redirect airplane traffic away from the affluent part of town and towards Carl’s neighborhood. His campaign was going very well, until a misunderstanding between Earl and a police officer was caught on tape and broadcast as the opposing candidate’s campaign commercial. Now Earl submits his father’s name to run again, even though Carl is adamant that he does not want to be mayor. Earl, Randy (Ethan Suplee), and Catalina (Nadine Velazquez) recruit unregistered voters to boost Carl’s numbers, hoping to win not only the election for Carl, but also a relationship with his father for Earl. Jaime Pressly and Eddie Steeples also star. TV-149:30 P.M.
"THE OFFICE"
OFFICE OLYMPICS: Michael (Steve Carell") has a panic attack when he tries to close the deal on his new condo. Meanwhile, while he and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) are away from the office, Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) organize an "office Olympics" where employees compete in ridiculous games. B. J. Novak also stars. TV-1410 P.M.
"LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT"
DESIGN: A con artist is found at the center of a colossal designer baby ring. Lynda Carter, Estella Warren, Julian Sands and Mark McGrath guest star. A distraught and pregnant April Troost, (guest star Estella Warren) is found on a ledge threatening to commit suicide. After being talked down, she confides in Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that she has been raped, and her unborn child is a product of that crime. Troost accuses Barclay Palmer (guest star Julian Sands), a handsome, wealthy and successful business man, of the crime. Although Palmer denies involvement, DNA tests prove he is the father. The case goes to trial, but when it becomes evident that Troost is willing to settle for money, her credibility diminishes and Benson and Stabler (Chris Meloni) become suspicious of her story.
