DEL RAY BEACH, Fla. -- Two Hollywood stars ate lunch at a Del Ray Beach restaurant on Saturday and urged people to vote in the presidential election.
Decked in "Change" shirts and pins, actors Rhea Pearlman and Danny DeVito sat down for a bite and also to get people to vote
"(We want) to make sure people know how happy we are about them getting out to vote early," DeVito said.
"It's really mobilized the entire population of the U.S.," Pearlman said. "I've never seen anything like it."
Both support Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama to take over the White House and urge others to do the same.
"I have great trust that even though he's coming into a difficult situation, he's going to be able to handle it," Pearlman said.
"He has reached people," DeVito said. "He's a guy who people really feel comfortable with and a man who can take our country and bring it to new heights and make it a place we can really be proud of again."
Most diners were star struck and whipped out cameras to capture the moment.
But Pearlman and DeVito said they hope their visit inspired the people instead to hit the polls by Nov. 4.
"Today, tomorrow and Tuesday," DeVito said. "We've got to really make that effort to vote."
