Bill Murray's wife has filed for divorce, claiming the comedy actor uses drugs, has been unfaithful, and has abandoned and physically abused her for more than 10 years, according to The Post and Courier in Charleston, S.C.
According to the paper, Jennifer Butler Murray made the allegations in a complaint filed with the court May 12. The Post Courier added that court records were subsequently sealed on Friday.
Bill Murray, who doesn't have a publicist or agent, didn't return calls from the paper made to the offices of the Charleston RiverDogs -- a minor league baseball team co-owned by the actor.
Jennifer Butler Murray is also seeking a restraining order to bar her estranged husband from her home, and is asking the court to determine if their $7 million premarital agreement is valid and enforceable, The Post and Courier reported.
The paper said the couple married in 1997 and have four children.
Bill Murray starred on "Saturday Night Live" in the 1970s and went to a successful film career, appearing in such hits as "Stripes," "Meatballs" and the "Ghostbusters" films.
He also received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role in the 2003 film "Lost in Translation."
