Lohan Movie Tops Razzie Nominations

'I Know Who Killed Me' Earns 9 Nominations

Calling it a cross between "teen torture porn" and "The Patty Duke Show," the Golden Raspberry Foundation has nominated Lindsay Lohan's "I Know Who Killed Me" for nine Razzie Awards, including Worst Picture.

Lohan herself is up for two Worst Actress awards, one nomination for each of the twins she plays in the movie, which bombed at the box office.

In traditional fashion, the foundation announced its annual dishonors a day before the Oscar nominations. The Razzies will be handed out -- for anyone who dares to claim them in person -- a day before the Oscars on Feb. 23.

Lohan fared better than Eddie Murphy in this year's Razzie nominations, who's nominated a record five times for his movie "Norbit."

Murphy's nominated for Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Supporting Actress for the three roles he plays.

He's also nominated for Worst Screen Couple for acting opposite himself and for writing the screenplay.

Norbit is up for eight Razzies in all, including Worst Picture. The other Worst Picture nominees are "Bratz," "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry," and "Daddy Day Camp" -- a sequel to the Eddie Murphy movie "Daddy Day Care."

Murphy, however, opted not to participate in the sequel. Cuba Gooding Jr. took over the lead role, and subsequently, was nominated for a Worst Actor Razzie.

Joining Murphy and Gooding in the Worst Actor category are Adam Sandler for "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry," Nicolas Cage for "Ghost Rider" and Jim Carrey for "The Number 23."

In the race against Lohan and her dual nominations for Worst Actress are Jessica Alba for three films -- "Awake," "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "Good Luck Chuck."

Rounding out the field of Worst Actress nominees are the four stars of "Bratz" -- Logan Browning, Janel Parrish, Nathalia Ramos and Skyler Shaye -- who share a nomination; Elisha Cuthbert for "Captivity"; and Diane Keaton for "Because I Said So."

The nominations for the Razzies were determined by mailing ballots to 747 voters in 44 U.S. states and 18 foreign countries.

The foundation said in a statement on its Web site that the Razzies will "forge ahead," writers' strike or not.

"In an awards season where the top-dollar ceremonies are all quaking in their boots wondering what stars (if any) will show up for their events, the one award show where the stars never show up is left wondering what all the fuss is about," the foundation said. "As unaffected by the WGA writers' strike as they are unconcerned about the massive star egos they poke fun at year-after-year, the Golden Raspberry Awards plan to forge ahead with their annual insult-fest whether The 80th Annual Academy Awards (aka The Giving Out of the Little Gold Naked Men) go on or not."

If the strike is settled by the time the Razzies are handed out, there always is a possibility that a "winner" could show up. Halle Berry accepted her Worst Actress award in person for "Catwoman" in 2005.
