The WGA enters its fourth-straight day of negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers Thursday with some new allies, as writers in Europe and Australia are showing their support for striking American writers.Mark Burton was one of several dozen British writers who rallied in front of the headquarters of Britain's main union federation Wednesday, holding red-and-black placards saying: "We Support the Writers Guild of America."Burton's credits include "Madagascar" and "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit."In Paris, a few dozen screenwriters and others joined a march that ended across from the Eiffel Tower.They held up signs saying, "French Screenwriters Are Angry" and "Our Creative Work is Under Threat."In Berlin, about 30 scriptwriters and actors gathered in front of the Brandenburg Gate. And, Australian scriptwriters demonstrated in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
