The store sold just over 100 systems at midnight, leaving 26 to be sold at 8 a.m.

After waiting in line without being able to shower the first person to purchase a system at this store plans to get some sleep.

"I'm fixing to find out if it's worth it," said Jose Martinez. "Go home, take a good night's sleep and then maybe open it."

Many people who braved the cold nights said they do not plan to open theirs at all. They said they plan to put their systems up for sale on eBay.com.

"It's not that big of a deal to wait when you're talking about making $1,500 in a night," said Jacob Blizzard.

The PlayStation 3 20GB system retails for $499.99 while the 60GB system retails for $599.99.
