Similar headline, but different ceremony.

As has been the case much of this awards season, "The Artist" was the big winner this weekend at the Orange British Academy Film Awards, or the BAFTAs.

The silent black-and-white film, which is nominated for the best picture Oscar, snapped up seven BAFTAs: Best film of the year; best director and best original screenplay, which both went to Michel Hazanavicius; best lead actor (Jean Dujardin); original music (Ludovic Bource); cinematography (Guillaume Schiffman); and costume design (Mark Bridges).

The rest of the winners sound just as familiar. Meryl Streep won the best leading actress BAFTA for her work in "The Iron Lady"; Octavia Spencer picked up another best supporting actress honor for her role in "The Help"; and Christopher Plummer was named best supporting actor for his work in "Beginners."

"Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," meanwhile, nabbed the outstanding British film BAFTA and the best adapted screenplay BAFTA.
