Win 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' Book Set

The Movie
From the beloved best-selling series of books comes “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” a fantasy adventure for the child in all of us. Peculiar things start to happen the moment the Grace family -- Jared and his twin brother Simon (both played by Freddie Highmore), sister Mallory (Sara Bolger) and their mom (Mary-Louise Parker) -- leave New York and move into the secluded old house owned by their great-great-uncle Arthur Spiderwick (David Strathairn).

Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents that seem to be happening on a daily basis, the family blames Jared. When he, Simon and Mallory investigate what’s really going on, they uncover the fantastic truth of the Spiderwick estate and of the creatures that inhabit it.

"The Spiderwick Chronicles" opens in theaters Feb. 15.

The Experience
In anticipation of the release of the film, “The Spiderwick Chronicles Experience” is rolling out across the U.S. The "Experience" is a touring mobile exhibit that is designed to bring “The Spiderwick Chronicles” to life though an education inspired series of interactive displays.

The focus of the mobile exhibit experience is to teach children how modern movies are made using the process of Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) while at the same time exploring the adventures the Grace children encounter in “The Spiderwick Chronicles.”

The mobile unit will integrate several educational and interactive experience elements including:
  • The Introduction to The Spiderwick Chronicles Movie Station

  • The Creature Photo and Description Station

  • The CGI Story Slider Station

  • The Seeing Stones CGI Integration Station

  • The Comparison Perspective Chart Station

  • The Character Morph Green Screen Station

  • The Spiderwick Chronicles Behind the Scenes Station

  • The Spiderwick Chronicles Video Game Station

    • Find out when "The Spiderwick Chronicles Experience" will be coming to your city.

    The Contest
    Five winners will be selected at random to receive the five-book set of "The Spiderwick Chronicles."

    Prize packages in this contest are subject to change.
