Uber tracks its dangerous drivers in Houston and other business news

Uber is trying to curb dangerous driving with a new pilot program under testing right now in Houston.

The company began the pilot program late last year in Texas. Through smartphone sensors, Uber can tell when one of its drivers is accelerating or braking too quickly. Uber hopes to use the information to verify passenger feedback and complaints about its drivers.

In other business news, Chase Bank is introducing new ATMs that don’t require a debit card. The new machines will require an app to withdraw money and can dispense as much as $3,000. That’s triple the current limit.

Chase plans to roll out the new fleet of ATMs later this year.
