The healthiest airline food, AT&T hikes prices

Flying the friendly skies might not be so friendly for the health of passengers.

The average number of calories per food item this year on flights has skyrocketed to 400, up from 360 calories just three years ago. According to a new study by DietDetective.com, Virgin America has the top spot with the healthiest choices in the sky, followed by Delta and JetBlue. The options from Southwest Airlines and Allegiant Airlines ranked at the bottom.

Meanwhile, AT&T customers lucky enough to hang on to their unlimited data plans will pay more next year. The company is hiking the price to $5 per month, up to $35. That’s in addition to charges for texting and calling services, along with other fees. AT&T stopped offering the plan five years ago, but grandfathered customers in.
