IRVING, TEXAS - Retailer Michaels is recalling rock salt lamps because they could cause shock and pose fire hazards.

Michaels officials said the dimmer switch or outlet plug can overheat and ignite.

The recall involves three rock salt lamps sold under the Lumiere brand: Rock of Gibraltar, Carnival of Lights and Basket of Rocks.

They were sold in Michaels stores from July through November 2016 for between $15 and $30.

Consumers should immediately stop using the lamps and return them to any Michaels store for a full refund.
