Iran planning to ramp up oil production

Iran is going full speed ahead with plans to pump oil into the world market now that sanctions are lifted.

The country plans to pump one million barrels a day, despite the fact that oil prices have plunged due to oversupply. An Iranian government official told CNN that his country isn’t responsible for the turmoil in the oil industry. The economic sanctions on Iran were recently lifted as part of a landmark nuclear deal with the U.S. and other world powers.

In other business news, the next generation iPhone is expected to hit store shelves this spring. A new, smaller-screen model with a faster chip may debut March 21, according to a new report from an industry insider.

Along with the new iPhone, a new iPad and new Apple Watch bands are expected to be introduced.
