General Motors is recalling more than 473,000 trucks and SUVs across North America.
The automaker said that there’s an issue that can cause the brake pedals to come loose and not work properly. The recall is for some 2015 and 2016 Chevrolet Silverado models and GMC Sierra models, as well as the Chevrolet Tahoe police models. GM has not reported any crashes or injuries linked to the issue.
In other business news, Sports Authority is facing possible bankruptcy. The sporting goods retailer missed a $20 million debt payment a month ago. Now, it’s facing a Sunday deadline to make the payment or strike a deal with lenders.
If the company does neither, the company will be in default on all of its other loans, according to credit rating agency Standard and Poors.
