Facebook CEO to raze $30 million in homes to secure privacy

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is shelling out $30 million to update his privacy settings.

The billionaire bought four neighboring homes just to demolish them and keep prying eyes from peeping into his $7 million Palo Alto homestead. He purchased the houses for $30 million in 2013, and according to new paperwork, he plans to bulldoze them and build smaller ones.

The new homes will take up 20 percent less space and preserve Zuckerberg’s privacy. The paperwork did not say how long the construction will take.
