HOUSTON - Chevron stopped the sale of premium-grade and mid-grade gasoline at hundreds of Houston-area Chevron and Texaco stations when it discovered something was wrong with the fuel.
"We believe a limited number of drivers were affected, and we are not discouraging people from driving their cars," wrote Chevron's Braden Reddall.
He said regular gasoline was not affected and any premium-grade fuel that was released for sale after July 2 should be safe.
