As Seen on TV Tuesday: Do Super Sipperz suck?

Kids love straws, and parents love to keep their little ones busy. Today's "As Seen on TV Tuesday" product combines the two.

Super Sipperz are like silly straws on steroids. Your kids can construct their own designs and then drink up.

We gave the straws to 5-year-old Ryan, 6-year-old Ian and 7-year-old Mitali. They are the target demographic for Super Sipperz.

The commercial shows several elaborate creations kids can supposedly make with the straws, claiming "You can build a castle. You can make a plane. You can make a train. Let your imagination go wild."

But you might need an engineering degree to build those. Super Sipperz comes with zero directions, blue prints or even suggestions to get your mind started. Ryan, Ian and Mitali needed some help from their moms to build anything. The second strike for Super Sipperz came when the product failed to keep a promise made twice in the commercial and once on the package, claims that the product won't leak or fall apart. It did both of those things within a few minutes.

Super Sipperz says you can use the straws hundreds of times, but even on the first use the thin, cheap straws were easily bent.
The product cost us $9.99, but the kids and their moms say that was a super waste of money.

"It kept falling apart. We had to keep cleaning up mess that they were making, so I don't think it's a good buy," said Ryan and Ian's  mom Annykeysa Holloway.

Mitali and her mom both gave Super Sipperz a thumbs down.
