Street closures for 67th annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade

HOUSTON – Several streets will be closed downtown for Thursday's 67th annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, but several streets are closed Wednesday for parade staging and rehearsal, including:

  • Brazos from Dallas to Lamar (all lanes) at 6 p.m.
  • Walker from Louisiana to Bagby (all lanes) at 6 p.m.
  • Lamar from Louisiana to Bagby (all lanes) at 6 p.m.
  • Smith from Rusk to Lamar (all lanes remain closed until 2 p.m. on Thursday) at 6 p.m.

The following streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday for parade staging:

  • Allen Parkway (inbound) from Taft to Bagby
  • Bagby (northbound) from Dallas to McKinney
  • Bagby (southbound) from Walker to Clay
  • Brazos (north and southbound) from Dallas to Lamar
  • Lamar from Louisiana to outbound Allen Parkway at I-45 overpass

The following streets are included in the parade route and will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday:

  • Smith from Lamar to Walker 
  • Walker from Smith to Milam
  • Milam from Walker to Pease 
  • Pease from Milam to Louisiana 
  • Louisiana from Pease to Clay 
  • Clay from Louisiana to Smith
  • Smith from Clay to Dallas (parade concludes on Smith at Dallas)
