Special needs man tries out for black belt

Man becomes first special needs student to test for his black best.

HOUSTON - Wheel chair bound Tomas Ackley tried out for his black belt this evening at the All Star Martial Arts Center.

He became the first special needs student to test for his black belt.

Ackley decided to never let his disabilities get in the way of his dreams and has been practicing martial arts for six years now.

After testing for his black belt Ackley said that he felt stronger and even more motivated.

He's looking forward to teaching his skills to children at the martial arts center.
