HOUSTON – All the toughness, intensity, and drama of the rodeo is coming to your living room.
Video game developers Woody Addison and Tracey Cearley created the world's first motion-controlled rodeo video game, and they're giving an ongoing demonstration at Reliant Stadium during this year's Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

The game is called "Top End Rodeo Tour." It allows players to compete in calf roping, team roping, mounted shooting, barrel racing and, of course, bull riding.
While the game may not help you with your form, you will certainly look the part. The motion-control technology will keep you moving.
Addison said, "You're swinging the rope, riding the bull -- when people see you doing that, they'll know (you're) playing a rodeo game."
It's not easy for the seasoned cowboy or even for the seasoned gamer. But with a little practice, players find success and the game could quickly become addictive.
"Top Hand Rodeo Tour" is scheduled to be released by the end of the year for Microsoft Xbox Kinect and Sony PlayStation Move.
