HOUSTON – A Houston family is one step closer to moving into their very own home.
Local 2 has teamed up with Houston Habitat for Humanity and Star Furniture to build a home for Kimberly Hudson and her four children.

On Tuesday, Kimberly got to do a walk through to check out all of the progress at the home in northeast Houston.
Construction on the house started in January.
A move-in date has not been set, but the Kimberly and her kids will be able to move in soon.
