Eyes on Houston: 14th annual Legacy Luncheon

HOUSTON – Legacy Community Health held their 14th annual Legacy Luncheon at the Wortham Center to raise money for their little readers program.

The little readers program provides books for children when they go to the doctor for their well child visit.

The doctors talk with the children and their parents about the importance of reading and what it can mean to them to make their lives better as they grow older.

Legacy community Health has several clinics around town that provide health care to patients and charges depending on their ability to pay on a sliding scale.

This luncheon raised over $300,000.
