Danielle Bradbery moves in to top 5 on "The Voice"

Bradbery moves on from round six

CYPRESS, Texas – Another week on The Voice, another week closer to fulfilling her young, lifelong dreams.

Cypress' own Danielle Bradbery has moved on from round six on NBC's hit reality show to the top five. She gets one more shot at winning the contest after voters across the country gave her enough support to keep her in the competition for at least one more week.

Her family and friends in Cypress gathered at a restaurant for a watch party, including her very happy father.

"Oh my gosh. Gosh I'm so proud of her," said Danny Bradbery. "It's unbelievable."

Before the big announcement that she'd be moving on, Danielle had a message for all those supporters here at home.

"I love them so much, they've been supporting me all the way and hopefully we'll continue, and I just love everybody so much."

The show also broadcast Danielle's trip last week to tornado-ravaged Oklahoma with contestants being coached by country singer Blake Shelton and R & B star Usher. Danielle is being coached by Shelton.

"I've never experienced a tragic moment like this," Bradbery said in a recorded portion. "But we're really happy to be here to help."

The whirlwind adventure continues for Bradbery. She'll be travelling back home overnight for a hometown visit that will be recorded for one of next week's episodes of The Voice.
