HOUSTON -

KPRC, Kroger, Coca-Cola, and Cox Media Group Houston (The New 93Q, Country Legends 97.1, and The Eagle on 106.9 and 107.5) have teamed up once again to help deserving students start the new school year off right!

From now through Aug. 19, visit any Houston-area Kroger to donate a pre-packaged school supply kit or money to help local students. The collection drive aims to equip 25,000 children with the necessary tools for a successful school year.

Educators around the city cite that proper school supplies are vital to academic progression. Many families in our area have difficulties purchasing school supplies for their children.

Stuff the School Bus helps to fill the gap and alleviate the burden that is frequently placed on teachers to provide adequate supplies at their own expense.

This is our community’s opportunity to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged students and help them maximize their learning potential.
