KPRC Local 2 is proud to continue the tradition of partnering with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for the 22nd Annual Summer Blood Drive.

Houstonians dropped by the KPRC Local 2 studios on Thursday to donate blood and help save a life.

More than 1,000 donations are needed daily to care for surgery patients, cancer patients, individuals with anemia, premature babies and many others.

To combat high summertime demand, Local 2 and Commit For Life ask for your help. One donation can save as many as three lives.

If you could not make it to Local 2 on the June 21, visit one of the other several Houston donation locations through Tuesday, June 26.
