The average cost of a gallon of diesel gas in Houston is $3.91. But some stations around town sold diesel gas for 34 cents less.

The following three stations sold gas for less on Wednesday, according to www.GasBuddy.com.

  • CITGO, West Parkwood Ave. & Sun Meadow Blvd., Friendswood: $3.57 for diesel
  • Chevron, East Fwy. & Lockwood, East Houston: $3.55 for diesel
  • Murphy USA, Hwy 249 & Theiss Lane, Tomball: $3.30 for regular
